A Message From Our President
Hello and thank you for checking out Community Women's Club of Level Green!
My name is Katie Newport and as President of CWCLG, I hope you feel welcomed and inspired by the generosity and work we do in our local Level Green and Penn Trafford community.
The Community Women's Club of Level Green is transforming into a generational club where mothers and daughters, aunts and nieces are now working together for the betterment of our community.
It is across these generations that many traditions have been formed, and we are beginning to see new traditions to be passed down to future generations. Without traditions, our own values and beliefs would not uphold. Traditions are passed down from generation to generation, morphing and growing with the new generations that put them into practice.
CWCLG can not continue to exist without members that uphold traditions. As we move forward, we welcome new members eager to embrace our traditions that keep our club and the programs we bring to the community alive.

We have a place for all women in Community Women's Club of Level Green and we welcome you to join us!
Katie
Club Information, Officers & Committees
The Community Women’s Club of Level Green (CWCLG) is a non-profit organization that was established on April 22, 1970. General meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month from September through May at the Level Green Community Building located at 123 Murrysville Road in Level Green.
Our Club Flower: Marigold
Our Club Colors: Green & White
Our Club Motto: Love and Friendship are the greatest things in life!
Our New Member Social is held at the beginning of each new Club year. At the New Member Social, any woman ( 21 or older) interested in joining CWCLG can attend to receive information and to meet members. This "open house" style event is themed and lots of fun!
If an interested member can not attend the New Member Social, we encourage attending one of our general meetings before deciding on becoming a member.
There are five officer positions within the club:
President
Vice President
Recording Secretary
Corresponding Secretary
Treasurer
In addition to these positions, we also have a variety of committees. Each club member can become as involved as she would like. We encourage all members to volunteer and serve on the committees of interest, and all members are asked to participate in at least one fundraiser per year. Some of our club projects and philanthropies include:
-
Safety Town for Pre-Kindergarten children - held in June
-
Christmas Tree Recycling Program
-
Scholarship Awards to Penn Trafford Seniors - awarded in May
-
Light Up Level Green Event - held the first weekend in December
-
Trafford Food Bank Food Drives - held annually
In addition to our work in the community, we also hold a number of social events and programs throughout the year. Because our Club is so involved and diverse, there are two types of memberships: Active Members and Social Members. Active Member dues are $30.00 per year and Social Member dues (one year regular membership prerequisite, may not hold office) are $50.00 per year.
